Mark Ebner did satellite interviews the other day to promote a story he penned for Maxim about Colton Harris-Moore, an 18 year-old bandit, who has burglarized unoccupied homes and has stolen cars, boats and airplanes on the islands and mainland of the Pacific Northwest.

The Maximpiece was reportedly prompted by a story from last October, where Colton's mother expressed pride in her son's exploits and in which, the sheriff says that he "blew-up" at a Today Show producer for asking about the made-for-tv aspects of the saga because he didn't want the felon turned into a folk hero.
Colton Harris-Moore has now been on the loose for two years and when they last spoke, he intimated to his mother that he's about to try something big and that she should be prepared.
