Crowdsourcing Opposition Research is a wiki site that was setup by supporters of Jerry Brown to gather and publish background information on Meg Whitman. Among the categories are "Meg Sightings", "Meg History" and "eBay Stories"

Thus far, the bulk of the data seems to pulled from the press and eBay's SEC filings, but anyone is welcome to contribute as long as they can cite sources, respect copyrights and perform in a constructive manner.

When asked by CNN, the Whitman campaign let an intern reply;

Just like Wikipedia, I'm sure my professors won't even allow me to use it as a source for my term papers. So why does Jerry Brown's silly front group think it's good enough for voters?
