What the Freak is Up in Denver?

No, this isn't a post about the random pianos...

Instead, it's an expression of wonderment about Denver Police's claims that they "unintentionally" misled the public by characterizing a planned attack on a union office, as an act of vandalism and something akin to a wall thermometer falling off the wall.

And, I guess it's also a cautionary tale because the union office in question, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has been heavily identified as having connections to the Obama administration, the Democratic Party and ACORN, by portions of the media and public.
