Adam Leech, a reporter for New Hampshire's Seacoast Media Group participated with more than a thousand of his neighbors in a "cattle calls" for a bone marrow match, hoping to save the life of a local girl.
Mr. Leech wasn't a match for the young lady whose plight led him to be tested, but he was a match for someone else, so he unselfishly donated stem cells and wrote-up the process, where others might be inspired.
