Happiness is...?

Julia O'Malley, a columnist for the Anchorage Daily News tries to find rhyme and reason to Alaska being declared the eleventh most happy state, when viewed in context of several other rankings.

Fortunately for the reader, Ms. O'Malley's piece is not only amusing, but it's also full of links to the studies, she cites. Though, if you were to ask me, especially in light of the bottom ten, I kind of wonder if having fewer people per square mile could be a factor in some results.
