Brand + Campaign = Wendy's

The Kaplan Thaler Group of New York has developed what could arguably be considered one of the best ads to market an existing business with an established public identity.

In an interview with Brandweek, Wendy's CMO Ken Calwell described the painstaking research which discovered when people think of Wendy's, they believe "The food is a little better there... They use the real stuff, the real ingredients. It’s real fresh, never frozen beef... It’s owned by this real guy, his name was Dave and he named it after his real daughter, Wendy."

An idea they've supported with the following simple, but effective ad.
